INTER-LABORATORY COMPARISON OF REFERENCE TORQUE WRENCH CALIBRATION BETWEEN NMIJ AND PTB IN THE RANGE OF FROM 200 N·m TO 2 kN·m

Abstract:
Inter-laboratory comparison of reference torque wrench calibration was conducted between NMIJ and PTB using a torque transducer in the form of a torque wrench, "TTS/3kNm", as a transfer device. Although the rated capacity of the transducer is 3 kN·m, the calibration range of from 200 N·m to 2 kN·m was selected. Each loading time schedule used in daily calibration was also adopted in this comparison. Calibration results obtained by both laboratories coincided with the range of uncertainties.
